Global - a 1st Flagship Company in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced HR Compliance Specialist to join our Corporate HR team. You will monitor employment requirements, analyze HR data, prepare regulatory reports, and translate legal and policy requirements into compliant workflows.

Reporting to the Sr. HR Manager, you will partner with HR leadership to identify compliance gaps, implement improvements, and track corrective actions across the organization while handling confidential information

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, Legal Studies, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience focusing on compliance, employment law, or HR auditing.
• Knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, and Form I-9 verification.
• Understanding of California employment practices.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms (ADP/Workday/UKG) and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.

Responsabilités

• Conduct HR compliance audits of personnel files, I-9, payroll, and benefits records to identify discrepancies and evaluate compliance.
• Track findings, corrective actions, and follow up with responsible teams.
• Research changes to federal, state, and local employment laws and summarize their impact for HR leadership.
• Draft, update, and implement employee handbooks, HR SOPs, forms, and compliance workflows.
• Prepare regulatory reports (EEO-1, VETS-4212) and coordinate with Safety on OSHA records.
• Analyze HR data using HRIS reports and Excel to identify trends and summarize for leadership.
• Coordinate compliance training (anti-harassment, data privacy, safety) and track completion.
• Assist with investigations and agency inquiries and maintain confidential records across locations.
