What does an HRBP, Operations at Rinnai do?
The Human Resources Business Partner, Operations, reports to the Director of HRBP for Operations at Rinnai America. This individual collaborates closely with members of the Operations leadership team and manages the day-to-day HR functions within Operations. As part of the HR team in a growing organization, this role plays a key part in supporting and influencing all aspects of Operations and associated people processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business partner with all levels of operations in strategic planning, tactical planning, and effective implementation of HR processes and programs.
- Propose HR initiatives to improve business results with measurable goals and objectives.
- Primary owner and operator for major HR processes, such as recruiting, salary planning, development, training, HRIS, etc.
- Be a sponsor of the company’s principles, ensuring that a positive and winning culture is maintained.
- Partner with plant leadership on the acquisition of talent, projected headcount, and workforce planning
- Source applicants through innovative recruiting techniques for manufacturing and DC plant sites in Griffin, GA and Reno, NV
- Determine qualified applicants through various screening processes and assessments tools
- Coordinate second level screening and interviews for applicants with other members of management
- Prepare and extend offers to qualified candidates
- Coordinate and performs various areas of the new hire onboarding process including orientation
- Communicate directly with placement agencies for contingent workers
- Conduct, review, analyze and report Exit Interviews data
- Make recommendations to improve employee engagement and reduce turnover
- Embrace, support, and drive growing business demands in a changing environment
- Prepare and make recommendations regarding the application of policies and procedures
- Educate plant leaders and team members on new or updated of company policies/procedures or programs
- Proactively seek opportunities to maintain a Union-free work environment
- Enforce fair and consistent practices of company policy, procedures, and regulations
- Manage day-to-day employee relation matters including but not limited to questions, concerns, employee investigations, terminations
- Act as coach and advisor to Team Leaders and Group Leaders
- Facilitate and/or coordinate roundtable discussions, town halls and plant meetings as needed
- Act as a primary POC for all team members as on-site liaison
- Provide full HR administrative support to plant team members and leaders
- Maintain/update employee information in ADP system, as well as personnel records
- Apply subject matter expertise to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Encourages team member participation in Corporate Responsibility efforts and company events
- Transparently communicates company, location, and HR-related messages across the plant(s)
- Development of reporting Dashboard/Metrics to monitor and analyze plant changes and trends
- Adhere to Rinnai’s Policies, Codes of Conduct and Core Values

REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Industrial Relations, Business or other related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years HR experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
- PHR or SHRM-CP strongly preferred.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- Knowledge or understanding of continuous improvement or Kaizen methodologies
