ADP is hiring a Remote Human Resources Consultant in Santa Barbara, with visits to clients in the surrounding area.

In this role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging your HR experience, ADP product knowledge, and consulting skills to address their critical business challenges. You will carry the responsibility for ADP's service reputation and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Typical daily activities include:

  1. Research, Troubleshoot, and Resolve: Serve as an HR expert to major clients, support complex products, and resolve issues independently while proactively providing information, best practices, and training.
  2. Communicate and Exceed Client Expectations: Use interpersonal and product knowledge to resolve issues, set priorities, and exceed expectations while maintaining high ethical standards.
  3. Provide Recommendations and Educate: Interpret business issues, recommend solutions, and share knowledge with less experienced colleagues.
Qualifications

Required:

  • 5-8 years of professional consulting or HR experience, or equivalent in a systems-related organization
  • Experience in customer service or HR with proven results
  • Willingness to visit clients in San Luis Obispo, Woodland Hills, Camarillo, Paso Robles, and Santa Barbara

College degree is preferred but not required; relevant experience or military background is acceptable.

Preferred:

HR Certification or willingness to pursue within the first year.
