Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to align people strategies with business objectives and work closely with senior leaders. You will shape workforce planning, lead talent reviews, and drive leadership development across the organization.

The role requires partnering with executives, coaching on performance and development, and leveraging analytics to inform decisions. Travel up to 20% is expected; SPHR/SHRM-SCP is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is required.
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years partnering with senior/executive leaders.
  • Minimum 2 years supporting a global business population; willing to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.

Job description

  • Partner with executive and senior leaders as a trusted advisor to align people strategies with business objectives
  • Influence workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategies supporting long‑term growth and transformation
  • Lead talent management initiatives, including succession planning, talent reviews, calibration sessions, and leadership development programs
  • Coach leaders on performance management, employee development, career growth, and organizational effectiveness
  • Use workforce analytics, talent metrics, and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions
  • Drive change management and communication strategies for business initiatives, organizational changes, and workforce transitions
  • Collaborate with leaders and Centers of Excellence to develop and implement solutions enhancing engagement, culture, and business performance
  • Facilitate leadership assessment and development through feedback processes, talent evaluations, and targeted development planning
  • Advise leaders on team effectiveness, performance improvement, and strategic talent decisions
  • Champion an inclusive, high‑performing workplace culture and advance employee experience and DE&I initiatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources or related degree
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive HR experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working directly with senior and/or executive level leaders
  • Minimum 2 years' experience supporting a global business population
  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
  • Previous Human Resource Business Partner experience preferred
  • Experience working in the technology industry preferred
  • Experience consulting, influencing without authority, resolving conflict, and thriving in a fast‑paced, decentralized, matrixed, global environment
  • Understanding of financial considerations, including budgets and P&L
  • Track record of developing and coaching others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Strong strategic orientation, business savvy, critical thinking, and ability to evaluate broad impacts
  • Strategic planning, problem solving/critical thinking, and ability to execute plans
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage competing, high-priority demands during organizational change
  • Planning and project management skills; ability to manage multiple cross‑functional projects simultaneously
  • Ability to build relationships across all organizational levels, including executives
  • Ability to motivate and encourage change and achieve positive results in a large, dispersed organization
