Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Organization Design and Workforce Planning professional to partner with HR Business Partners, Talent teams, and business leaders to understand workforce challenges and design practical solutions. The role focuses on governance, role clarity, data analysis, and program delivery across a matrix organization, building frameworks and cross‑functional collaboration.

Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in organization design, workforce planning, workforce strategy, talent management, consulting, project execution, or related work.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across a matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Experience working across teams and helping stakeholders move work forward.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Preferred experience supporting or leading organization design, governance, or complex workforce transformation work.
  • Preferred experience developing practical frameworks, tools, and implementation plans.
  • Experience with workforce, talent, or organizational data and Workday or similar HR systems.
  • Entry-level candidates requiring current or future sponsorship are not eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Work with HR Business Partners, Talent teams, and business leaders to understand organization and workforce challenges
  • Define practical ways to address organization and workforce challenges
  • Lead or support projects related to organization design, workforce planning, position management, role clarity, governance, and workforce processes
  • Develop frameworks, tools, and best practices for consistent decisions about roles, teams, skills, and workforce planning
  • Create recommendations, project plans, presentations, and implementation materials
  • Support job design, career path, skills, and role structure work
  • Review workforce and organization data to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities
  • Design governance frameworks clarifying decision rights, roles, handoffs, and workflow
  • Track decisions, actions, risks, dependencies, and follow-ups across teams to drive execution
