Job summary

Unilever's Knorr facility in Independence, MO seeks an Associate Manager, HR Business Partner to partner with hourly teams and frontline leaders. This on-site role focuses on employee relations, performance management, onboarding, and engagement within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires strong knowledge of employment law, union practices, and the ability to drive improvements while ensuring policy compliance and alignment with the CBA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years HR experience in manufacturing or factory settings.
• Union experience strongly preferred and knowledge of CBA.
• Good understanding of employment law and employee relations practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site HR contact for hourly team members and frontline leaders.
• Manage employee relations inquiries, investigations, and grievances.
• Support performance management, onboarding, and engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliant administration of HR policies and processes.
• Lead or participate in local HR projects and process improvements.
