Job summary

Qualifications

3+ years of progressive HR experience
Knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices
Working knowledge of Michigan and federal employment laws and regulations
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus

Responsibilities

Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, and talent development matters
Partner with leadership on workforce planning, retention strategies, and organizational effectiveness
Support recruiting, onboarding, and employee lifecycle initiatives
Conduct employee relations investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while supporting HR programs and policies
