Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID seeks a day shift, full-time Human Resources Business Partner. The role collaborates with managers to align HR initiatives with business goals, and supports enterprise HR projects across the Portneuf and Lovelace NM markets.

The successful candidate will bring 3+ years of healthcare HR experience, SHRM familiarity, and strong facilitation and coaching skills to drive positive business outcomes and a people-first culture.

Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Human Resources, HR Business Partner in Pocatello, ID supporting Portneuf Medical Center. The HRBP will also provide remote support to our New Mexico market made up of Lovelace Health System.

• Portneuf Medical Center (PMC) is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's Level II Trauma Center and tertiary referral hospital and is home to the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group and Portneuf Air Rescue. PMC has a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, an adult intensive care unit, nationally recognized orthopedic services, a full suite of cardiac care, Center of Excellence recognized surgeons, imaging, primary and specialty care.
• Lovelace Health System includes six hospitals, 33 health care clinics and seven outpatient therapy clinics, with 619 inpatient beds and employs a team of more than 3,200, including more than 300 health care providers.

Responsibilities

• The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) partners directly with managers and directors and their respective teams to drive results based on business strategy and objectives.
• The HRBPis responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management.
• The position collaborates across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the facility, market, and region.
• The HRBP is expected to demonstrate a solid understanding of the facility's financial position, labor market demands, and operating landscape and use this knowledge to guide people-related decisions and plans.
• In addition, the HRBP will also support/deliver on enterprise-wide HR related projects and activities.
• The HRBP role is responsible for creating HR agendas that align with corporate HR strategies and support local interests and conditions.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years ofHR experience - Relevant HR experience (HR Advisor, Generalist, or Specialist) gained in healthcare-related business with multiple stakeholders (including matrix relationships).
• SHRM certified and/or extensive knowledge of current Human Resources practices, principles, and trends.
• Experience facilitating meetings, discussions, and programs (training content).
• Experience coaching local managers to create positive business outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence leaders.
• Experience leading and mentoring internal partners to deliver results.
