Qualifications

HR Business Partner - Employee Relations

Location: Fountain Valley, CA

Pay Rate: $30.06 - $44.33/hour

Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for employee relations, workplace investigations, and employment law compliance? We're seeking a detail-oriented HR Business Partner - Employee Relations to support workplace investigations, employee relations initiatives, policy compliance, and HR risk management across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough workplace investigations involving employee concerns, policy violations, attendance, performance, harassment, and misconduct issues.
• Partner with managers to provide guidance on employee relations matters, corrective actions, and policy interpretation.
• Prepare and review disciplinary documentation and support conflict resolution efforts.
• Manage employee separations, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
• Maintain accurate case files, reports, audits, and employee relations records.
• Assist with litigation support, including documentation, evidence gathering, and case preparation.
• Develop and improve HR processes, templates, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
• Support reporting, compliance initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
• Travel up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 4-7 years of HR and Employee Relations experience.
• Strong experience conducting workplace investigations and managing employee relations cases.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
• PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
