Advantage Technical is hiring a Senior Business Partner, Payroll in Fountain Valley, CA to own the full pay cycle and ensure accurate, compliant payroll processing. You will partner with HR, Finance, and Operations to support pay inquiries, audits, and reporting.

The role requires 5+ years in HR and 4-7 years payroll experience, with ADP system expertise and a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field. CPP/PHR/SHRM certifications are preferred in this growing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field required.
• 5+ years of HR experience and 4-7 years in payroll preferred.
• CPP certification or PHR/SHRM preferred.
• Experience administering ADP payroll systems and HRIS.
• Knowledge of multi-state wage and hour regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer ADP systems including HRIS, Time & Attendance, and Tax Compliance.
• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Audit HRIS and time data; build and maintain reports.
• Respond to employee and supervisor pay inquiries.
• Process garnishments and verification requests.
• Ensure wage and hour compliance; support HR projects.

Senior Business Partner, Payroll

Location: Fountain Valley, CA

Pay Rate: $30-$44.33/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (flexible schedule available)

Advantage Technical is hiring a Senior Business Partner, Payroll on behalf of our client, a growing organization with cross-functional operations spanning HR, Finance, and Administration. If you thrive on accuracy, compliance, and being the go-to resource for pay questions, this Fountain Valley, CA role is for you.

This temp-to-hire opportunity supports the full pay cycle while partnering closely with HR, Finance, and Operations.

Job Duties:

• Administer ADP systems, including HRIS, Time and Attendance, and Tax Compliance modules
• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule
• Audit HRIS and time data; build and maintain reports
• Respond to employee and supervisor pay inquiries
• Process garnishments, tax offsets, and verification requests
• Ensure processing complies with wage and hour regulations
• Support HR projects and maintain accurate data interfaces
• Escalate errors or delays to management as needed

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field

Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of Human Resources experience
• 4-7 years of payroll experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPP certification
• PHR or SHRM certification
• ADP experience
• Knowledge of multi-state wage and hour regulations
