A Brief Overview

To partner with the US Business Heads and their teams to align talent with business strategy and to help business units achieve their objectives by creating teams of knowledgeable, enthusiastic, collaborative people who see their values and successes as inseparable from those of our Organization. To ensure regulatory and legal compliance across all locations in respect of all HR-related activities. To partner with Centers of Expertise (Learning & Development, Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, and Talent Acquisition) and Shared Services to ensure they provide the support needed for effective partnership with the business.

The HR Business Partner can be located in San Antonio, Chicago, or New York and will be 100% on-site.

How You Will Make an Impact:
  • Organizational Development & Design: Identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness, and partner with business leadership to define and implement new structures, systems, and processes.
  • Change Management: Provide thought leadership and tools to help managers guide the organization through growth and change (communications strategy, proactive needs assessment, problem solving, team interventions, etc.).
  • Talent Management: Lead the leadership team in developing and executing strategies for talent acquisition, development, and internal movement (talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, executive staffing).
  • Coaching: Advise leaders on people management and organizational issues. Partner with senior management to enhance managerial and leadership effectiveness.
  • HR Initiatives: Support HR programs related to performance management, talent planning, and compensation reviews. Manage and influence projects effectively.
  • Strategic HR Business Partnership: Lead execution of HR programs (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Performance, Training, Employee Engagement, etc.) in partnership with Global HR Centers of Expertise and Shared Services.
  • Staffing & Onboarding: Ensure timely and high-quality staffing solutions, including personal recruitment efforts and management of recruiting resources. Facilitate effective onboarding.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee issues promptly and effectively, including capability, disciplinary, and grievance matters.
  • HR Administration: Handle HR administrative needs efficiently.
  • Training: Facilitate periodic training sessions.
  • Networking: Gather insights on industry best practices through contacts.
What We Need:
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience with solid technical knowledge in key HR disciplines.
  • HRBP or generalist experience preferred.
  • Experience in complex matrix environments desirable.
  • Knowledge of US employment law.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Critical thinking ability.
  • Ability to build credibility and trust with leaders.
  • Maintain confidentiality.

The base salary range for Illinois is $110,000—$125,000 USD, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include bonuses, comprehensive health plans, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
