Beyond Blue Corporation within the University of Kentucky Athletics Department seeks an Administrative Payroll and HR Support role to manage payroll processing, time entry, and HRIS updates. You will coordinate payroll actions, assist in hiring processes for students and temporary staff, and ensure accurate compensation in line with university policies.
This position emphasizes compliance with NCAA, CSC, SEC rules and university guidelines.
Responsible for providing administrative payroll and human resources support for the Athletics Department, for processing payroll activities, monitoring employee time entry and approvals, coordinating payroll actions, supporting hiring processes for student and temporary employees and ensuring accurate and timely compensation for Athletics personnel. Serves as a resource for payroll procedures, timekeeping practices, and employment transactions while providing support for operational and compliance requirements. All University of Kentucky Athletics Department employees are required to conduct themselves in accordance with the rules, regulations, and policies of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the College Sports Commission (CSC), the Southeast Conference (SEC), the University, and any other applicable regulatory body.
Bachelor's Degree required.
2 years of experience in human resources, payroll administration, business operations, accounting, finance, personnel administration, or a related field. Experience processing payroll transactions and utilizing HRIS, payroll, or timekeeping systems preferred. Experience with SAP, Workday, UKG, or similar enterprise systems preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
Professional certification in Human Resources, Payroll Administration, or a related field preferred.

The position requires extensive use of payroll, human resources, and financial systems to support payroll processing, employment transactions, reporting, and record maintenance.
