Qualifications

  • Maintain and process all third party payroll and garnishments in compliance with policies.
  • Assist with government payments such as taxes, unemployment, and child support.
  • Compile, process, and audit payroll data including deductions and direct deposits.
  • Prepare payroll vendor reports and perform routine, ad hoc, and compliance reporting.
  • Update policies related to garnishments and third party payments; troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaborate with HR, staffing, vendors, and management to ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance timekeeping and payroll accuracy.

Job Summary Responsible for settling expense, third party payroll, and on cycle and on demand payroll runs, maintaining accurate vendor payment records, and ensuring timely, accurate payment for all deduction recipients. Independently processes payroll deduction data, ensures compliance, provides guidance, and supports process improvements. Collaborates with HR, Payroll, Accounts Payable, and management to resolve vendor issues, support financial reporting and audit activities, and ensures compliance with organizational policies in day-to-day operations.

Essential Functions
  • Maintain and process all third party payroll, garnishment systems in compliance with organizational policies and standards.
  • Assist with generating government payments like taxes, unemployment, and child support.
  • Compile, process, and audit payroll data, including quick charge, deductions, garnishments, levies, direct deposits, and manual corrections; settling all runs promptly and accurately.
  • Prepare and payroll vendor reports, including routine, ad hoc, and compliance reporting
  • Update, maintain, and communicate policies and guidelines related to garnishments, quick charge, and third party payments as necessary
  • Serve as a resource to system users; independently troubleshoot and resolve payroll deduction and vendor reconciliation and escalating highly complex matters.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with HR, staffing, vendors, and management teams to ensure payroll accuracy and resolve issues.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance timekeeping and payroll accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement

High school diploma or equivalent experience

Experience Requirement

5 years of experience in finance, accounting, healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
