Job summary

Ingham Intermediate School District in Mason, MI is seeking a Human Resources & Benefits Specialist to support human resources programs, benefits administration, and compliance under established policies.

The role handles onboarding, benefits enrollments, and HRIS data integrity, reporting to Suzy Corbin, with a salary range of $63,140 to $85,150 and a 52 weeks / 5 days / 8 hours schedule. Applicants must have a degree or equivalent experience and knowledge of FMLA and federal/state laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, labor relations or a related field; five+ years of HR, payroll and benefits experience may be substituted for degree.
• Two years of experience in HR and/or benefits administration.
• Experience with Enterprise ERP from Tyler Technologies and KRONOS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists with and executes human resource programs including benefits, leave, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
• Oversees new staff onboardings including setup in systems and ensuring documentation compliance; coordinates communication with hiring managers.
• Processes benefit enrollments, including annual open enrollment; coordinates with vendors and ensures HRIS enrollment accuracy.
