U-Haul International, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Technical Manager to design, develop, and support automation and reporting solutions for HR operations.

You will partner with HR partners and project teams to identify automation opportunities, implement scalable tools, and improve data integrity. Responsibilities include building Python-based automation, dashboards, and interfaces; integrating systems like Workday and HRIS; validating solutions, documenting designs, and ensuring security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in application development, preferably within HR domain.
• Experience with cloud-based HR solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience with data analysis, troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives.
• Certification in relevant programming languages or HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR business units and stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
• Evaluate business needs and recommend technology solutions to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Analyze processes and develop recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to implement solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain automation solutions using Python and related technologies.
• Develop tools, dashboards, and interfaces that streamline business processes.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation solutions and applications.
• Customize and integrate systems (e.g., Workday, HRIS, Azure tools) to improve efficiency.
• Analyze and resolve data, reporting, and integration issues.
• Design and develop reports and data solutions for meaningful insights.
• Support testing, validation, and deployment of solutions.
• Maintain documentation for solutions and technical designs.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory guidelines.
