Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services seeks an HR Generalist Coordinator II to support HR and operational managers with day-to-day field HR activities and rollout of HR initiatives. This role also handles daily reporting, administration, and other HR functions.

Based in Peoria, IL, you will coordinate benefits, oversee the annual performance review cycle, assist with hiring and onboarding, and partner with HR managers on investigations and leave management.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in Human Resources preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and planning skills.
• Strong English verbal/written communication skills.
• A high level of guest service and an eye for detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience taking care of a large employee population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use HR systems to produce reports.
• Assist with tracking and administrating recognition program.
• Provide data and information as needed for investigations in partnership with HR Managers.
• Coordinate the benefits program.
• Lead and coordinate the Annual Performance Review process for front line associates in partnership with management.
• Assist with hiring, on-boarding, and training new associates.
• Connect with a third-party administrator for worker's compensation, FMLA, and Short-Term Disability and leave.
