Job summary

Brakebush Chicken in Irving, TX seeks an HR Associate, 1st Shift to support the HR team with payroll, onboarding, vendor setup, and record maintenance. This role partners with plant operations to keep HR processes accurate and compliant.

Responsibilities include assisting with recruitment backups, new hire orientation, processing unemployment, maintaining training records, and handling routine inquiries with tact and discretion.

Qualifications

• Associate degree OR 1+ years in an administrative support role.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Organize and coordinate work within schedules and emergent needs.
• Proficient in English and Spanish.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience in food processing/manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support hourly payroll processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Create and maintain PO’s for the plant.
• Assist with setting up new vendors in the system.
• Serve as a backup for recruitment.
• Assist with new hire orientation.
• Handle facility calls and visitor directions as needed.
• Maintain HR files and assist with other HR duties.
