Medina County is seeking an HR Assistant under the Human Resources Director to perform a variety of HR and administrative duties, including personnel records, transactions, payroll and benefits support, recruitment and employee relations.

The role also assists with policies and procedures, prepares reports and postings, and supports special projects. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm; candidates must pass background checks and drug screening; Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Behavioral Science, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years of related work experience preferred, in County government, HR or related administrative field.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training and experience may be considered to meet essential functions.

Responsabilités

• Prepares and maintains personnel records and processes personnel transactions.
• Assists with payroll and benefits administration and supports recruitment and employee relations activities.
• Assists with development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
