Job summary

Unison Health is seeking an HR Assistant to support recruitment, onboarding, benefits management, compliance tracking, and employee relations. The role emphasizes confidentiality, organization, and discretion while serving as a primary contact for staff.

You will help with pre-employment activities, HRIS data accuracy, and timely responses to HR inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly and in line with company policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Working knowledge of HRIS systems, data entry, and general HR practices.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding processes
• Provide support throughout the recruitment process
• Maintain accurate employee data and HRIS records
• Track and maintain compliance requirements and documentation
• Monitor and triage HR ticket requests and provide departmental support
• Respond to daily HR-related questions and inquiries
• Provide ongoing support and assistance to employees
• Coordinate employee training and development activities
• Prepare and maintain HR reports and documentation
