Job summary

JOB SUMMARY

Provides administrative support, maintains personnel records, provides Workday processing, coordinates luncheons, plant events, and works on special projects as needed. Also, answers employee questions pertaining to human resources matters and maintains highly confidential and sensitive information. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Associates Degree
  • Three years office type work experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with employment law, including FMLA, ADA, WC, and COBRA.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing, filing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be willing to work needed hours to assure successful team results and to assure closure of team assignments.
  • Must be comfortable working with all levels of management.
