HR ASSISTANT
Location: Orlando, FL | On-site
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Experience: 1–2 years preferred
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and organized HR Assistant to support daily Human Resources operations within a community-focused healthcare organization.
This position supports employee records, onboarding, recruiting, scheduling, payroll, benefits, compliance, and general HR administration.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
- Assist with new-hire paperwork, onboarding, and orientation
- Post jobs, schedule interviews, and communicate with candidates
- Process employee documentation, status changes, and HR forms
- Support payroll-related information and employee timekeeping
- Answer basic employee questions about benefits, policies, and HR procedures
- Maintain HR spreadsheets, reports, and tracking documents
- Coordinate background checks and required documentation
- Assist with employee training, meetings, and attendance tracking
- Support HR compliance and general administrative needs
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, professional, and service-oriented approach
- 1–2 years of HR, office administration, healthcare administration, or related experience preferred
- College coursework or an associate degree is a plus
- HRIS, payroll system, or applicant tracking system experience is a plus
- Healthcare, nonprofit, or community-service experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- $18.00–$20.00 per hour
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage after six months

- 104 hours of PTO, accrued at four hours every two weeks
