Groundswell is seeking an HR Analyst to provide administrative and operational support across onboarding, HR operations, learning and development, and reporting. This early-career role works with the HR team to gain hands-on experience with HR systems and processes in a fast-paced environment.

The role is full-time and hybrid, requiring three days in the McLean, VA office, including Mondays for new hire onboarding. Strong organizational skills and a customer-service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of HR, recruiting, operations, administration, customer service, or related experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with multiple priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Strong customer-service orientation and professional interaction with stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn new HR systems and processes; collaborate with the team.
• Local to the DC Metro area; able to work in McLean, VA office three days/week.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for HR processes including background checks and I-9.
• Support onboarding activities and ensure a positive new-hire experience.
• Administer learning and development activities and maintain records.
• Conduct testing and quality reviews of training materials and resources.
• Maintain employee career profiles and online resumes for completeness and quality.
• Run and review Workday reports to support HR programs.
• Coordinate HR communications, employee engagement, meetings, and events.
• Support HR help desk by triaging requests and ensuring timely follow-up.
• Maintain accurate HR documentation per established processes.
• Partner with HR team on projects and priorities.
