Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conducts and coordinates the recruitment/selection process and maintains job registers with department/division heads.
• Maintains the City's personnel database and records system and archives records per state retention schedules.
• Administers all benefit plans and coordinates annual open enrollment and benefits fair.
• Coordinates benefit changes with payroll and benefit carriers and maintains carrier databases.
• Designs and maintains the City's HR web pages and coordinates employee health and wellness programs.
• Provides new employee orientation and serves as frontline contact for HR needs.
• Assists with classification/compensation updates, salary surveys, and training program implementation.
• Orders supplies, handles check requests, and reconciles payments of bills.
• Supports development of personnel policies and employee handbook; stays informed on legal requirements.
