Job summary

Murray City is seeking an HR professional to support benefits administration under the direction of the Human Resource Director. This role will involve administering all benefit plans, coordinating open enrollment, and aligning benefits with payroll and vendors.

The position requires an Associate degree in HR or related field plus relevant experience, a strong focus on employee health programs, and hands-on HRIS skills. Murray City offers pension, vacation, holidays, and other support programs.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in human resources, business management, or closely related field from an accredited college or university; plus one year of experience in human resources, accounting, finance or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Conducts and coordinates the recruitment/selection process.
• Maintains the City’s personnel database and records system.

Responsibilities

• Assists with benefits administration and open enrollment.
• Coordinates benefits changes with payroll and benefit carriers and maintains the database for all benefit carriers.
• Designs and maintains the City’s Human Resource web pages.
• Coordinates and develops the City’s employee health and wellness programs.
• Conducts new employee orientation.
