Job summary

Bridgwater & Taunton College Trust is seeking an experienced HR Advisor during a period of transformational change. You will manage a caseload of employee relations matters, provide pragmatic HR advice, and work with school leaders and the People team to support workforce transformation across a portfolio of schools.

You will independently handle ER casework, coach leaders, and contribute to policy development while aligning with safeguarding considerations and DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Practical experience advising on employee relations cases.
• Sound knowledge of employment law.
• Confidence to challenge and support managers constructively.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage employee relations casework (disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability).
• Advise and coach leaders on complex people issues.
• Support organisational change, consultation and TU engagement.
