Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our workforce directorate. You will provide professional, generalist HR advice to managers and staff, focusing on attendance, disciplinary cases and policy interpretation in a busy NHS environment.

You will report to a HR Manager/Senior HRBP, work with HR Advisors and Officers, and split time between home working and on-site locations across the service.

Qualifications

• Qualified HR professional with Level 5 CIPD or degree.
• Experience advising managers on terms, policies and procedures.
• Strong understanding of employment legislation and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on Agenda for Change terms and HR policies.
• Support managers through employee relations processes including attendance, disciplinary and informal resolution, investigations and hearings.
• Assist with review meetings, investigations and hearings and communicate with staff at all levels.
• Interpret and apply terms, conditions and policies in NHS/public sector contexts.
• Travel across the organisation; operate in a hybrid of home working and on-site duties.
