WORKDAY APPLICATION DEVELOPER SPECIALIST, HR IT

PPG Industries, Inc., headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, has a remote Workday Application Developer Specialist, HR IT position (with telecommuting options) responsible for analysis, integration development, and configuration of the Workday platform. Specific duties include:

1. Analyzing and creating detailed business, functional, and technical requirements and specifications.
2. Configuring the Workday platform, including developing integrations.
3. Supporting testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and developing enhancements.
4. Performing day-to-day Workday production support and serving as subject matter expert for assigned HCM integrations.
5. Staying updated with Workday enhancements and future product releases to support internal HR teams.

This is a fully remote position; the employee can work from anywhere in the United States.

Minimum qualifications include:

1. Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
2. Five (5) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related position.
3. At least three (3) years of experience with:

• Workday integrations, system configurations, and implementation.
• Developing and modifying reports and integrations from Workday to internal and external systems.

Knowledge of Workday technologies such as calculated fields, Custom Reports, EIBs, Document Transformation, Workday Studio, Web Services, and PICOFs.

Experience can be concurrent.
