Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, HRM, IR, psychology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Three to five years of experience in employee relations or HR Generalist roles, disability management, or related fields.
• Experience in HR Operations or HR Service Center is preferred.
• Knowledge of ADA, LOAs, FMLA and employment law related to disability cases.

Responsibilities

• Handle cases in ServiceNow related to ADA, LOAs, FMLA and accessibility with tact and accuracy.
• Analyze issues, provide consultation on accommodation solutions, and manage timelines.
• Promote a positive workplace culture while managing sensitive information.
• Communicate clearly with employees and stakeholders, supporting risk management.

Immediate need for a talented HR Advisor. This is a 03+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Tempe, AZ (Hybrid).

Pay Range: $30/hr - $32/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• In this team, HR Advisors are responsible for cases assigned through ServiceNow (case management system) related to ADA, LOAs, FMLA, and accessibility.
• This role requires considerable tact, great communication, and ability to help manage risk.
• This work is time sensitive, and a successful individual will be organized and have an ability to manage timelines.
• Cases are sensitive in nature, and we want a trusted advisor who can provide consultation and guidance on accommodation issues and solutions and promote a positive workplace culture.
• The role requires the ability to analyze, research, and resolution proposals.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must have skills: - ADA Accommodation (Americans with Disabilities Act), Employee Relations and FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), Human Resources and LOA
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Psychology or related degree, or equivalent work experience
• Three to five years of experience in employee relations or as an HR Generalist or associated HR position, disability management, or equivalent experience
• Previous experience working in HR Operations or HR Service Center preferred
• Experience with federal and state disability laws, specifically ADA, LOAs, Employee Relations, Employment Law, Disability case work is desired
• Ability to work independently and to identify when to engage others
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to maintain confidential information
• Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of accommodation solutions as it pertains to disability-related barriers
