HR Administrator
About All Hours Mechanical
All Hours Mechanical is a growing commercial HVAC service company with locations across Ohio and Kentucky. We're looking for an HR Administrator to own the day-to-day people operations of our company, working closely with our Controller and supporting managers across all our markets. This is a great fit for someone who wants ownership of HR — not a slice of it tacked onto another job. You'll be the go-to person for recruiting logistics, onboarding, compliance, and employee questions, with real room to build and improve our HR processes as we grow.
Why Join Us?
- Real ownership of a growing function at a growing company — not just execution of someone else's playbook
- Work directly with company leadership and Central Services
- Competitive pay and benefits
- Family-owned and privately held company
- Opportunity to help build and improve HR processes as the company grows
- Support a growing, multi-market team across Ohio and Kentucky
Position Overview
- HR experience — new to the field or several years in, we’re open to the right person
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Comfortable working independently and juggling multiple priorities
- Familiarity with HR compliance basics (or eagerness to learn); PHR/SHRM-CP a plus, not required
- Clear, professional communicator who’s comfortable talking with employees at every level, from field techs to leadership
About All Hours Mechanical
All Hours Mechanical is a family-owned, privately held business — you’ll be joining a company where decisions are made by people who are personally invested in getting them right, not a distant corporate office or outside investors.
Founded in Columbus, All Hours Mechanical has grown into a four-market commercial HVAC service company, with operations now spanning Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Bowling Green, KY.
We’ve built that growth through a mix of new-market launches and acquisitions, and we’re not slowing down. Joining now means getting in on the ground floor of a company that’s actively building out its people and processes to match its growth. This HR Administrator role is a direct example of that investment.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting support, including posting openings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and helping managers move candidates through the process
- Run new hire onboarding, including paperwork, orientation, and ensuring new team members are set up to succeed from day one
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with employment law and company policy across all locations
- Administer employee benefits, answer employee questions, and coordinate open enrollment
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee relations issues, escalating to leadership when needed
- Help develop and document HR policies and procedures as the company grows
- Support culture and retention initiatives across a multi-market team
- Work closely with company leadership and Central Services on people-related initiatives
Requirements
- HR experience — new to the field or several years in, we’re open to the right person
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Comfortable working independently and juggling multiple priorities
- Familiarity with HR compliance basics or eagerness to learn
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus, but not required
- Clear, professional communicator who’s comfortable talking with employees at every level, from field technicians to leadership
