Human Resources Administrator (Entry Level!)
Job Description
Experience: Entry Level
Salary: $26 - $32 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- HR Support
- Partner with the Senior HR Generalist on new-hire onboarding and offboarding, including systems access and account setup (Sequoia One HRIS, Microsoft 365, HubSpot, Monday.com, Brex)
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure data integrity across systems
- Serve as a first point of contact for routine employee questions on policies, benefits enrollment, and HR processes, escalating as appropriate
- Support performance review and engagement survey cycles with scheduling, tracking, and follow-up
- Timekeeping and Payroll Administration
- Administer the timekeeping system — monitor weekly time card submissions, follow up on missing or incomplete entries, and flag discrepancies before payroll cutoff
- Track PTO, leave balances, and absence requests; ensure accurate coding of hours
- Partner with HR and Finance on payroll preparation, reviewing time data for accuracy and resolving exceptions
- Maintain expense reporting and reconciliation in Brex; resolve card issues, lockouts, and vendor payment escalations
- Compliance and Records
- Run the daily approvals and signature queue end-to-end — DocuSign/Adobe Sign workflows, NDAs, vendor agreements, and HR paperwork
- Maintain organized records of executed agreements and personnel files in SharePoint with strong version control and appropriate confidentiality
- Support compliance recordkeeping such as I-9 documentation, required labor law postings, handbook acknowledgments, and policy distribution
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in developing expertise in employment law and HR compliance (wage and hour, multi-state registration, EEO reporting, leave administration); training and mentorship provided
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 0-1+ years of human resources experience
