Job summary

Motion is seeking an HR Admin Specialist to join our high-volume HR Operations team supporting North America. You will handle HR inquiries, assist with Workday navigation, and process lifecycle transactions with precision.

You will document cases in ServiceNow, protect confidential information, and collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, and Talent partners to ensure timely resolution. A customer-first mindset and strong data accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s in HR/Business preferred.
• 2+ years in HR administration or customer-service roles.
• Experience with HR data entry and HR transactions.
• Strong communication and detail orientation.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for HR inquiries via phone, email, ServiceNow.
• Deliver responsive, service-focused HR support with active listening and clear communication.
• Answer questions using approved policies, procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Assist employees and managers with Workday navigation and self-service.
• Explain steps, status, and timelines; refer or escalate when needed.
• Create or update a ServiceNow case and document actions taken.
• Own cases through resolution with timely follow-up and proper routing.
• Coordinate with HR teams to resolve issues promptly and accurately.
• Protect confidentiality of employee information and maintain privacy controls.
• Process HR transactions in Workday and related systems within turnaround times.
• Support pre-employment and onboarding administration, including approvals and checks.
• Process employee/position changes with required approvals and updates.
• Validate requests against procedures and data standards; ensure control requirements.
