Job summary

Pharmaron Exton, PA is seeking a Scientist I/II – HPLC Method Development to join our Bioanalytical Sciences team on-site in Exton, PA. The role focuses on developing, optimizing, troubleshooting, and validating chromatographic methods across diverse therapeutic molecules.

You will work across HPLC platforms and expand exposure to bioanalysis, DMPK, and MS applications in a dynamic CRO/CDMO setting, suitable for early-career analytical scientists.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing, optimizing, and/or troubleshooting HPLC/LCMS methods.
• Strong understanding of chromatographic principles including separation, retention, and resolution.
• Ability to document and communicate experimental procedures, results, and conclusions.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative scientific environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, troubleshoot, and validate HPLC-based analytical and bioanalytical methods for drug discovery and development programs.
• Design chromatographic conditions including columns, mobile phases, gradients, and flow rates.
• Troubleshoot peak shape, resolution, and carryover to improve method performance.
• Perform analytical and bioanalytical sample analyses using HPLC and related platforms.
• Document study protocols, validation reports, and technical summaries with high quality.
• Collaborate with scientists and clients to support project execution.
