Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Scientist II at our Devens, MA facility to develop and implement analytical procedures for APIs, using HPLC/UPLC, GC, IC, NMR, ICP-MS, FTIR and UV-Vis. This role focuses on method development, validation, and transfer in a cGMP environment.

The Scientist II will analyze samples, document results, and ensure compliance with EH&S and quality standards, while collaboratively supporting the team in a full-time on-site role with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Analytical chemistry with relevant experience in R&D and method qualification/validation in a cGMP environment.
• Proficiency in standard analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV, KF, and FTIR.
• Good written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs sample analysis, interprets results, and reports data; documents analyses per SOPs.
• Assists with method development, qualification/validation/transfer activities; drafts reports and protocols.
• Prepares high-quality written documentation (notebook entries, reports, SOPs, procedures) and troubleshoots instruments.
