Job summary

Pharmaron in Exton, PA is seeking a Scientist I/II specialized in HPLC method development. You will develop, optimize, troubleshoot, and validate chromatographic methods for diverse drug discovery programs, with exposure to bioanalysis and MS applications in a CRO/CDMO setting.

The role targets early-career analytical scientists with hands-on HPLC experience who will expand expertise across chromatographic platforms while ensuring quality, compliance, and collaboration with clients and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• 1–3+ years of relevant analytical or bioanalytical laboratory experience; level based on experience.
• Hands-on experience developing, optimizing, and/or troubleshooting HPLC/LCMS methods.
• Strong understanding of chromatographic principles and method optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, troubleshoot, and validate HPLC-based analytical methods for drug discovery and development.
• Design and optimize chromatographic conditions (columns, mobile phases, gradients, flow rates) for separation and sensitivity.
• Troubleshoot chromatographic challenges related to peak shape, resolution, and method performance.
• Perform analytical/sample analysis using HPLC and other platforms.
• Document procedures and results with quality standards.
• Support method qualification and validation activities and report generation.
• Collaborate with teams and clients to support project execution.
• Assist in study protocols, validation reports, and technical summaries.
