Job summary

Pharmaron seeks a Scientist II, Analytical Chemistry to advance analytical methods for process chemistry and manufacturing, including development, validation, and transfer of assays with GMP compliance. You will troubleshoot, interpret data, and lead project activities within a collaborative team.

The role requires advanced degrees with substantial instrument experience (HPLC/GC/FTIR/UV/MS) and a strong grasp of cGMP and regulatory guidelines, enabling effective support of client projects and

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry or related field; no industry experience for PhD.
• MS with 3+ years or BS with 5+ years in pharmaceutical analytics.
• Experience applying analytical skills to method design and implementation.
• Proven trouble-shooter for technical problems.
• 3 years of core analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV, MS).
• Working knowledge of cGMP and FDA/EMA/ICh guidance.
• Ability to supervise staff and contribute to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, transfer analytical methods and test samples.
• Interpret data and plan follow-up experiments.
• Review notebooks and instrument qualification protocols/reports.
• Lead analytical projects and mentor staff.
• Support audits and ensure GMP compliance.
• Own equipment and participate in software validation.
