Job summary

Pharmaron is seeking a Scientist II, Discovery DMPK in Exton, PA for a full-time onsite role. You will lead in vivo PK and in vitro ADME studies, leveraging LC-MS/MS to support drug discovery projects in a fast-paced CRO environment.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in a relevant science and has at least two years of hands-on LC-MS/MS experience, with strong scientific writing and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacokinetics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience within a CRO, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical environment.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on LC-MS/MS (Mass Spectrometry) experience.
• Experience supporting bioanalysis across diverse molecule types.
• Knowledge of in vivo pharmacokinetic studies.
• Strong scientific writing, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design scientifically sound studies that support sponsor and internal research objectives.
• Perform sample analysis for Discovery DMPK studies, including in vivo PK and in vitro ADME programs.
• Execute and optimize LC-MS/MS assays following established development guidelines.
• Review and execute study protocols while ensuring data integrity and scientific quality.
• Author protocols, technical reports, and study summaries.
• Process, analyze, interpret, and review scientific data.
• Troubleshoot analytical methods and resolve technical challenges.
• Collaborate with scientists, project managers, laboratory personnel, vendors, and commercial teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Serve as a Principal Investigator (PI) or Study Director (SD) within areas of expertise, as appropriate.
