Job summary

UNLV invites applications for a Research Cyberinfrastructure Engineer to empower researchers with advanced CI, HPC, and data-driven solutions on campus in Las Vegas.

You'll install, configure, and maintain HPC clusters, storage, and networks, monitor performance, and provide user training and documentation while collaborating with IT staff, faculty and students to deliver scalable research computing services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in systems administration with HPC focus.
• Experience with HPC clusters, storage, and networking.
• Ability to translate researcher needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain HPC hardware and software.
• Monitor performance and optimize HPC efficiency.
• Provide technical support to researchers using HPC resources.
• Develop and maintain documentation and training for users.
