Job summary

Delaware State University seeks an IT Research Cyberinfrastructure Analyst to support DSU EPSCoR and CIBER initiatives, providing infrastructure, applications, and services for expanding research portfolios across DSU campuses and partner institutions.

The role emphasizes guiding researchers in using shared HPC resources, training users, and creating technical documentation, with close collaboration to the DSU EPSCoR Director and statewide partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Experience with the Linux or related operating system.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a collaborative and diverse environment.
• Effective communication skills with diverse stakeholders -technical and non-technical-, including organization, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates as a member of a highly technical and customer-service driven team across Delaware.
• Be the liaison between DSU IT-Research Cyberinfrastructure and Delaware regional institutions.
• Provides end-user support to faculty, staff, and students on research computing hardware, software, and workflows.
• Identifies and develop workflows that efficiently use national supercomputing resources.
• Educates and trains users regarding research systems and services.
