Job summary

Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join the Hepatobiliary Pancreatic Surgery team. You will provide independent care within scope, working inpatient and outpatient, with weekend and holiday requirements.

You will assess, diagnose, treat, educate, coordinate care, and participate in tumor board conferences when available. Credentialing and hospital privileges are required; collaboration with physicians, nurses, and university faculty is expected.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina NP/PA license or eligibility.
• CAQ/NP/PA certifications per role.
• Prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.
• Minimum 1 year APP experience; HPB surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examinations and document findings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Order diagnostics and develop care plans; coordinate inpatient/outpatient care.
• Participate in tumor board conferences when available; credentialing required.
