Job summary

Advocate Health Care in North Carolina seeks a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA) to join the Hepatobiliary Surgery team. The role covers inpatient and outpatient care, including rounds, wound care, and postoperative management, with OR assistance and patient education.

Qualifications

• Current NC NP/PA license and board certification.
• Prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• Hepatobiliary surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient consultations and daily rounding.
• Assist in OR first assist and postoperative care.
• Coordinate discharges and referrals across care teams.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and treatments.
