Overview

Job Type: Regular

Location: Best Buy 128 - Reno, NV 89502

Schedule: Up to 15 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday preferred. Flexible Friday options may be available.

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Job Purpose

Assist in driving sales and creating buzz and excitement around the HP brand and products in local big‑box retailers and surrounding office supply stores. Demonstrate products, tailor demonstrations to customer needs, build rapport with customers and store staff, train retail store associates, maintain displays, and report competitive insights.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate HP products at Best Buy and surrounding office supply stores.
• Engage and build rapport with customers to create memorable experiences.
• Maintain professional relationships with management and staff within the assigned store.
• Train retail store associates on HP products and services.
• Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo-readiness.
• Report sales and competitive insights to Retail Operations.
• Accurately document and report sales.
• Maintain a clean, well‑organized, functional workstation/kiosk.
• Submit all paperwork completely and accurately.

Performance Measurements

• Regular and prompt attendance.
• Meet established monthly/weekly sales quota/goals.
• Maintain customer/client satisfaction based on rejection percentage and substantiated complaints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• 1‑year job experience required.
• Professional, tech‑savvy, outgoing personality with a strong desire to learn.
• Experience in retail or customer service in electronics, tech, or wireless is a plus.
• Training or product demonstration experience is a plus.
