Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. seeks a Trades Specialist in Houston, TX to join our Commercial Construction field sales team. You will sell DEWALT, STANLEY, CRAFTSMAN and other brands to end-user customers within your territory.

You will build and maintain relationships, mentor local market teams on end-user development, and coordinate marketing initiatives while using Salesforce CRM to track opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; construction field exp could substitute for higher education
• 3+ years of Sales/Marketing experience in Construction Supplies; track record with executives, C-Suite, directors
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization, multitasking
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel up to 50% within territory
• Proficient in Microsoft applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook

Responsibilities

• Sell DEWALT PTE, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, PORTERCABLE brands to end-user base
• Develop and maintain relationships with end-user partners and manage user contracts/programs
• Mentor local market team on End User development and purchasing processes
• Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives
• Maintain and use Salesforce CRM for opportunity tracking and planning
