Job summary

Alert 360 in Houston, TX is seeking a Sales Consultant to join the Outside Sales Department. You will generate leads and build a sales pipeline through account mapping, emailing, social media, newsletters, in-person events, educational events, and other sales marketing activities.

The role involves on-site visits, presenting solutions to homeowners and business owners, and working with Salesforce CRM. The position offers full-time hours, competitive benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen
• Qualify for local licenses as required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide custom consultations on home automation and security for homes and businesses.
• Ability to cultivate ongoing, positive relationships with current and potential customers.
• Promote a positive company image and present Alert 360 products and services to customers.
• Utilize Salesforce CRM for leads and updates through the sales process.
• Prospecting and networking to find new business per Sales Management criteria.
• Schedule on-site appointments for sales presentations and maintain pre-scheduled appointments.
• Follow up with customers during the entire sales process.
• Develop and track a daily activity plan with management.
• Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders.
• Report activity to Sales Manager or Branch Manager.
• Follow up after installation to ensure satisfaction and obtain referrals.
• Assist with collecting past due balances from customers with agreements.
