Ideal candidate has hands-on residential concrete experience, prior supervision, and the ability to work in Houston's heat and permitting

Qualifications

• 5+ years in residential concrete operations or construction management.
• Experience supervising crews and job sites.
• Knowledge of Houston codes and soils.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise residential concrete operations across multiple Houston-area job sites.
• Directly manage foremen and field crews, including daily assignments and performance oversight.
• Coordinate ready-mix suppliers, subcontractors, and logistics to stay on schedule and budget.
• Align pour schedules with project managers and overall construction timeline.
• Enforce safety standards and OSHA compliance; lead toolbox talks and audits.
• Monitor concrete quality control, mix specs, curing, and finish standards.
• Track job costing, labor productivity, and material usage; report variances.
• Manage relationships with inspectors; ensure code, permitting, inspection compliance.
• Recruit, train, and mentor crew leads to build a reliable team.
• Troubleshoot field problems and resolve delays proactively.
• Maintain daily logs, inspection records, and production reports.
