Job summary

Leola Construction is seeking a Superintendent/Framing Foreman to lead framing crews on residential projects in Houston. You will supervise framing work, read blueprints, and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to project specs.

The role combines hands-on framing with supervisory duties, requiring 5+ years in framing and at least 2 years in a lead capacity. A valid driver's license and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in residential and/or commercial framing.
• At least 2 years in a lead, foreman, or supervisory capacity.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and structural drawings.
• Knowledge of building codes and construction sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise framing crews and subcontractors to meet plans and schedule.
• Read blueprints and specs to guide layout and rough carpentry work.
• Oversee daily site operations, material staging, and crew scheduling.
• Conduct quality control walkthroughs to ensure code compliance.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations; lead toolbox talks.
• Manage framing schedule and communicate progress to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate material orders and deliveries to keep crews supplied.
• Track labor, productivity, and daily logs; resolve field issues.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of framing crew members.
• Maintain communication with inspectors, clients, and site staff.
