Qualifications

• 10+ years of maintenance/facilities experience with 4+ years in a regional supervisory role.
• Expert-level proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to extend asset lifespan and minimize service disruptions.
• Assist with drafting scopes of work and bidding on repairs and capital improvement projects.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with Summit standards.
• Assist with preparing properties for lender inspections.
• Coordinate and manage vendor relationships for repairs, maintenance, and capital projects.
• Collaborate with property managers to address resident concerns and timely resolution of maintenance issues.
• Monitor and manage maintenance budgets for each property, striving for cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, expenses, and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and policies related to safety and maintenance.
• Train and mentor onsite maintenance teams.
