Job summary

The Mechanical SME Engineering Manager at Dynamis leads a team of subject matter experts to support the engineering portfolio in Houston, TX. This senior role partners with Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to deliver compliant, efficient solutions while upholding safety and training standards.

Candidates must have a four-year engineering degree, 3+ years of supervisory experience, and strong English communication. Travel up to 20% and on-site work in The Woodlands area are required.

Qualifications

• Attend, participate in, and successfully complete scheduled safety training, including H2S, Powered Industrial, and basic First Aid and CPR training.
• Attend and successfully complete annual safety and operations recertification training.
• Communicate technical information with clients.
• Work successfully within a team environment to complete assigned tasks.
• Demonstrate strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Remain knowledgeable of and compliant with Active Learner, Paycom, KPA, and other company mandated systems.
• Quickly learn and navigate company platforms.
• Take instruction well and interact positively with other employees within assigned work groups.
• Efficiently use Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a team of mechanical subject matter experts to support the Dynamis engineering portfolio.
• Actively innovate solutions for complex packaging and engine opportunities.
• Partner with Quality, Supply Chain, Accounting, Digital, and other Shared Services to support compliant, efficient, and process aligned business needs.
• Ensure teams perform work in accordance with safety processes, standard operating procedures, and site specific policies.
• Ensure training and continued learning within the SME team.
• Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
