Sanchez Law Firm, based in Houston, Texas, seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join our consumer law and civil litigation practice. This is a full‑time, in-office role handling matters from pre‑suit through trial and post‑judgment proceedings, with direct client interaction.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of litigation experience, a J.D. from an accredited law school, Texas bar admission, and strong research, writing, and negotiation skills to manage a busy docket.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is REQUIRED.
• Active Texas bar license in good standing REQUIRED.
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience REQUIRED.
• Experience in consumer law and civil litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage a litigation docket and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases from pre-suit through trial and post-judgment proceedings.
• Draft demand letters, case evaluations, and litigation strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs.
• Prepare, review, and respond to written discovery.
• Take and defend depositions; attend mediations and hearings.
• Prepare cases for trial and attend trial.
• Communicate effectively with clients; work with staff.
• Meet deadlines and coordinate with firm team.
