The ideal candidate must be admitted in Texas with at least 1 year of relevant law-firm experience, and be prepared to travel for in-court

Qualifications

• Must be currently admitted to practice law in Texas.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Superior organizational & time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
• Strong legal research skills; LexisNexis proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a heavy and diversified caseload of Texas clients.
• Communicate with clients regarding their matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda; review and draft agreements.
• Communicate with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Conduct legal research related to contract law and other consumer law issues.
• Travel for in-court appearances while working remotely.
