Job summary

Empire Roofing, a Tecta America company, seeks a Sales Representative in Houston to handle all sales functions in the assigned territory, forecast, solicit and secure orders, and provide customer service.

Responsibilities include cold outreach, setting appointments, presenting solutions, creating proposals and reports, and coordinating with management to develop sales strategies. Starting pay ranges from $70k-$100k plus commission, with a benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; OSHA 30 training preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Proficient with MS Office; MS Project experience a plus.
• Experience with take-offs and core cuts is advantageous.
• Physical ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prospect via cold calls, emails, door-to-door calls, networking and referrals.
• Set sales appointments with key decision makers at prospective client companies.
• Establish rapport and develop long-term relationships with clients.
• Make sales presentations and collaborate to determine client needs.
• Create proposals and reports or generate estimates from drawings and field notes.
• Submit contacts and documentation in a timely manner; maintain sales call logs.
• Coordinate with service manager and president to develop sales strategies and close deals.
• Understand the contract to ensure company responsibilities and scope.
• Obtain information such as inspections, measurements, photographs and sketches for pricing.
• Communicate with owners, architects, engineers, GCs and property managers.
• Attend weekly meetings with project start-up, pre-bid, sales and job progress.
